Trevor Davies 6th Dan
Most of you know Trevor as an extremely good Kata Judoka and Coach for Faversham Judo Club but Trevor 25 years ago was a regular Judo Competitor. Trevor was Coached by IBF President Martin Clarke 8th and along with Dave Boulding and Martin Wyer were the first students trained by Martin to reach Dan Grade. You may ask why mention this now well the IBF has just received a photo from ex IBF member Chris Dawson 6th Dan, which shows Trevor on the Winning podium with Chris in 2nd place, this was the pinnacle of Trevor competition career winning the IBF European Championships in Enschede Holland 1976, u93 kilo.
