IBF Judo Instructors Course 2011

The Course took place at the Swale Martial Arts Club’s Dojo at  East Street Sittingbourne on Sunday January 16th. International Budo Federation run different courses throughout the year this one was a Judo  instructors Award. BUDO means Martial Way and is a generic term for all Japanese Martial Arts.

The course is designed to renew existing Instructors award, this have to revalidate on an annual basis, and teach new comers as well as examine those who wish to seek promotion.

Another milestone was reached as Sittingbourne Martial Arts Expert Martin Clarke 8th Dan who is also head of IBF in Great Britain handed over the Job of organising this course to his son John and YJC Members Colin Carrott . Martin has organised and developed the IBF Coaching System for the last 30 years but the inevitable happened it was time for new blood.

The course was restricted to 25 people and this was achieved with in a few weeks of the course being advertised.
